On May 25 the GDPR (Global Data Protection Regulation) came into force , the regulation that replaces the current Organic Law on Data Protection (LOPD), which is mandatory for all member countries of the European Union and is intended to guarantee that personal data are protected regardless of where they are sent, processed or stored.
